Biography
Greetings in Christ! I’m Jay Fulton, pastor of Cross Connection Church in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, which is just outside of New York City in Bergen County, NJ. I was born and raised in Southern California and grew up in a family that recognized God, but did not know God. Through repeated invitations to go to church by my friend, after my senior year of high school I received God’s provision of grace—Jesus Christ.
Since that time the Lord had worked in my life and began to show me how He planned to use me. Over the course of several years, the Lord made it clear that He called me to shepherd His flock. In 2001, eight months before September 11th, the Lord relocated my wife and I to New Jersey and in that season began to impress further on us that He called us to ministry in this state. We returned to Southern California in 2004 where I had the privilege of serving at Calvary Chapel Nexus for a several years before the Lord moved us again, through my employer, to Orange County, CA where we then attended and served at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. We had the great privilege of sitting under Pastor Chuck Smith’s teaching before his passing.
In 2011, the Lord brought us back to New Jersey to establish Cross Connection Church. Cross Connection started as a mid-week Bible study in 2013 and in January 2015, we began our Sunday services. We’ve been the recipients of an abundance God’s grace and are looking forward to how He will continue to work in us and through us to love and feed His flock! It’s a great privilege to join the Bridge Christian Radio line up and an even greater privilege to teach God’s word!
